WHAT'S A CHEMICAL PEEL?

Chemical peels work by applying a solution to the skin that helps loosen the bond between dead skin cells and accelerates cell turnover. The result: fresher, smoother skin emerges, with improved tone, texture and clarity.

Whether you're looking for a gentle glow-boost or deeper corrective results, our peel menu structures the right intensity for you.

BENEFITS OF CHEMICAL PEELS

  • Improved skin texture and tone: Smooths roughness and brightens dull, tired skin.

  • Reduced fine lines and wrinkles: Stimulates collagen production for a more youthful appearance.

  • Fades pigmentation and sun damage: Helps correct dark spots, melasma, and uneven tone.

  • Clears congestion and acne: Dissolves dead skin buildup and reduces pore blockages for clearer skin.

  • Boosts product absorption: Freshly exfoliated skin allows serums and moisturizers to penetrate more effectively.

  • Customizable results: With beginner and advanced options, treatments are tailored to your unique skin type, sensitivity, and goals.

HOW IT WORKS

  • We start with a consultation where we assess your skin history, current concerns, lifestyle (sun exposure, skincare) and goals.

  • Based on your assessment, we select the appropriate peel strength and brand (Beginner or Advanced) and plan any pretreatments or home-care preparation if required.

  • On treatment day, we cleanse your skin, apply protective measures (like eye shields), then apply the peel solution. You may feel a gentle tingling or warmth depending on the strength.

  • Post-treatment care is discussed and you’ll receive instructions and recommended home-care to support healing and optimize results.

  • A series of treatments may be recommended for the best outcome, especially for advanced concerns.

OUR CHEMICAL PEELS

BEGINNER PEELS

Ideal if you’ve never done a peel before, or if you’re looking for early stage enhancement and maintenance. These peels typically involve mild acids (such as lactic or salicylic acid) and involve minimal downtime.

What they help with: dullness, mild texture irregularities, early sun-spots, first fine lines.

Example brand & treatment: Using Circadia's Lactic Peel- a formula that is hydrating and exfoliating, but without peeling.

ADVANCED PEELS

For clients ready to address deeper concerns—such as stubborn pigmentation, stronger sun damage, moderate textural issues or post-acne marks—our advanced peel options deliver stronger exfoliation and more dramatic results. Some downtime or visible flaking may be involved.

What they help with: hyperpigmentation, melasma, deeper fine lines, sun-damage, uneven texture.

Example brand & treatment: Circadia’s Jessner or Mandelic/MandeliClear peels: their formulations combine multiple acids (salicylic, lactic, resorcinol, mandelic) to target pigmentation and ageing more intensively.

PRE- AND POST-CARE ESSENTIALS

PRE-CARE:

Avoid strong exfoliants, retinols, recent sun exposure, recent tanning or aggressive treatments in the area for 1–2 weeks prior.

AFTER-CARE:

Use gentle cleansers and moisturizers; avoid active exfoliating ingredients and direct sun exposure for several days. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is mandatory as newly surfaced skin will be more sensitive.
